CRICUT Mens cards
And the last creations of the evening - SUCH FUN! Mens cards as Father's day is coming in september and also one of my brothers birthdays.
The first card is using life's a beach for the helm and the yacht border. Second using a skier silhouette from the dude cartridge and brayering the sky blue and sponging some definition into the snow. Thirdly a jug of beer from everyday pop up cards, I couldn't decide if it looked better with or without the gold although beer is a browny gold.... And lastly a hot air balloon from everyday pop up cards.

Wedding scrapbook page - based on idea in Cricut magazine
This layout is based on a picture in the april/may cricut magazine, a design by Lisa Houpt. Thanks Lisa for the inspiration!
I used the cartridges as follows:
- Elegant edges for the lace matting
- Quarter note for the font
- Home decor for the chandelier and the flourish
- Flower shoppe for the flower
- Life's a beach for the fern type leaves
I am not only LOVING my cricut but also the new CRICUT magazines, they are packed with ideas and inspiration and simply the best magazine I have ever purchased...you will not be disappointed!

mountain snow skiing scrapbooking
Some more of the days creations, using up some old preprinted photos.....
On the third one, the snowy village scene was made on the cricut design studio, to merge all of the images together into one strip (for the shadow backing) then simply layered.... so easy to use up scraps too by placing the right size and different colored scraps in the right place and cutting all at once...

cricut boxes and cards
here are a couple of favor boxes and cards and things I have been trialing from the cricut... rather cute, still very impressed with this machine!
The lantern is rather cute had i cut it better....
the wedding boxes are just super...
the heart box is very large and simple...
the square card is from the just beachy set and the photo card is so you can put photos inside, would be quite handy once completed...
