Stampin Up Bookmark Card

Here is a bookmark card, trying something different....
The bookmark is attacked on the inside with removable tape (not shown in picture).

I used the lovely Beautiful Season stampset, blender pen and crayons for colouring... stamp-a-ma-jig for layering in correct place. .... next time I might frame the bookmark to make it standout more... ok for a first attempt though.

here is a card I made last night fora lady at work who is getting married over the holidays...with a matching treat box too... and personalised with her number plate....

Graduation cards

I finally made time to make some graduation cards for one of the tutors at work, she is so nice and wanted to give all 20 ! of her students a special graduation card. I used my new machine to cut the caps..., the first two were trial ones with the font included then I opted for the cap only......

Birthday and farewell card - something different

I have been so busy lately you may have noticed I have not been bloggin or creating for a whie now.. we have had lovely sunny days and I managed to put up my swimming pool, a lovely 24 degree on saturday (the first swim).. then spring cleaning and sorting out things to sell from the clean out... and finally putting up all of my Christmas decorations!

Here are a couple of cards, one for a friend at work, having a birthday today.. She has a Wii console like me and the Wiifit plus, and this card is made based on the stepping game/exercise...

Secondly a farwell card for one of the hairdressing tutors at work who is leaving to spend more time with her new salon....

I decided to try a tuturial on a flip card late last night - although I cut it a bit crooked it still works....

More Christmas cards

Christmas cards are by far my favourite to make..

This first one is inspired by a femo design I saw recently in a magazine, I didn't use femo though as find it too brittle and breakable so just went with cardstock...







Next is the lovely as a tree, tree on it's side and the delighful decoration baubles hanging below....

Then a simple bauble with a Christmas saying stamped on top....











And lastly another Santa in the chimney card but this time with a more appropriate saying - from the just believe set.....

Nested 3D Christmas cards

A few fun creations tonight....

I don't know the name for it but I saw at the craft fair a while back that you can buy printed cards with nested type layers (i hope you know what I mean) so I thought I would try to make my own version of these using a stamped image (once for background and second for layering) then cut the layering one with 3 spellbinders nestabilities (3 for layering 3d and the other two (larger ones) for the backing and frame.

I was plesantly surprised with the result and it does look like the things I remembering seeing at the craft fair...but of course better as not printed or mass produced or expensive!

I have tried two, one square and using the Stampin Up wish for peace set and the second oval, using the Stamping up Dasher stamp...

Lastly a different fold card which stands up once opened.... really simple to make so let me know if you want the instructions....

And the final creation of the night, albeit almost 1.30am... This is a santa parts stamp recently acquired..... just couldn't resist himas have a teddy bear the same and love the moveable parts.....

Photocards with stamped easel

Just bought this easel stamp recently with the thought of making photo cards with the photos I have taken of beautiful landscapres....I worked out I could stamp the top half higher to increase the height of the easel.... I think these came pout okay and may be a good way to utilise ,my photos....

get well - another take on my bed card

Here is another take on my get well bed card, this time I have added a book in front and a cast onto the leg. One of the tutors at work had a car accident on monday and is in hospital with a broken leg, she is one lucky lady and a tough cookie too so will be on the mend very soon.. she teaches our First Line Management online programme hence the book being a text book for the programme.....
