Improved pop up Christmas tree

Here is the latest improvement on my pop up Christmas tree, the tree is lower so in perspective and I have added rhinestones to decorate the tree.... also brayered the tree rather than sponging, really pleased with how this turned out...

Wine glass charm kit -gift

When shopping on the weekend I found a wine glass charm kit where you get all the parts you need and then thread the beads and charms to make 6 wine glass charms. Here is a gift box I came up with to show them off and turn into the perfect gift box package... Sorry about the photo, the acetate lid always seems to reflect in the photo... The bird and butterfly are on a band which is on the outside of the box helping to keep the lid securley on the box... Rather cute, I am hoping the shop has a sale sometime so I can buy more of the charm kits as could be quite popular for gifts...

Occasion cards

And the final creations of the evening, occasions cards for my card box as when I revamped it with catergory dividers I realised I did not have many occasions cards...

Balllons from the button bear set and cuttlebug embossing folder.

Cuttlebug horseshoes with brads and cuttlebug embossing folder. Unfortunately I have run out of antique brads so there are a couple of mixed ones on the horseshoes....

Baroque motifs silver embossing.... and cuttlebug embossing.

Never ending joy bouquet and cuttlebug embossing folder.

Frames with a flourish, buddies stamp... While making this I was going to use the frame on the top and bottom, then thought I wonder if I can use on the sides too, I had no idea it would make such a pretty circle! Next time I will emboss the square frame first, that way I will be able to stamp the frame straight!

Have to say that I am LOVING the Stampin Up Teeny tiny sentiments stamp set, I thought it may be too small when I bought it but am surprised how much I am using it, more than my other word sets!

Pop up christmas tree inside

This is based on a christmas card I made a couple of years ago now, and it sure needed a spruce up from my early card making days as I have much better stamps and skills these days... This is using a simple cuttlebug embossing folder on the front and a simple christmas verse and inside the night before christmas stampset... I think I will try it with white card and brayer the tree next time...

Card box upgrade

After having a much needed card sale last week (getting rid of some cards as have too many!), I decide to bring my card box home to sort out and upgrade. I made dividers today to separate sections also hoping it will help me keep track of card type I need to make. It's easy to get caught up in making your favourites but sometime you need more thanks yous, male cards, kids cards, occasions etc...

Hopefully this concept will help keep my stock organised and force me to use different stampsets and ideas....

Plain and simple cards

Tonight I decided to make some plain and simple cards.... They all have dazzling diamonds on them although they do not show in the photos... I used cuttlebug embossing folders which I found at the local warehouse sometime ago..... nice and simple!
