cricut everyday pop up cards - butterfly

Here is a card (which I took the time to finish properly) as have the night off.... no more timeoff till sunday as working fulltime and also working back stage for 42nd street at the theatre... busy busy..

I really like this cricut cartridge although it may take a while to work out how some of the pop ups work... at least this one is easy.... the card can be displayed half open or laying flat completely open....

This weeks challenge is to just add pink and bling...

I didn't add bling as it didn't work with my creation however the flowers and butterflies are all on glossy cardstock so they really shine!

I bought this wooden tissue box cover for $9 on Thursday and this challenge seemed perfect to dress it up simply by covering with patterned paper and adding the embellishments....

Brayer on cuttlebug embossing

Here are a few of last nights creations, I have embossed the card with my cuttlebug and then brayered ink over the embossed card, then sponged a lighter colour over the remaining white...

The first is on whisper white card the other two on glossy cardstock which really gives a lovely shine and different look....

The owl is sticking out on a 3d sticky... with his feet glued to the branch....

I decided to try some different styles of cards today, so here is a tri-fold double pocket card and a butterfly spiral pop-up card.... Makes a change from the standard cards...

Basket of happiness

Here are a couple of cards I made last night with a new set off trademe...it's was a bargin price so couldn't resist... the chocolate rabbit is not part of the set I just wanted to try putting something else in the basket....

chalk creations

I decided tonight to make a couple of cards using my chalks,I also used the petal printsset which I have not used in quite sometime... the second card is using the lovely inspired by nature set....

And the last three creations of the night, using my newbutterfly stampset and new butterfly punch. Also used spellbinders label die which resembles a book....
