Plain and simple cards

Tonight I decided to make some plain and simple cards.... They all have dazzling diamonds on them although they do not show in the photos... I used cuttlebug embossing folders which I found at the local warehouse sometime ago..... nice and simple!

Index book of my Stampin Up stampsets

Well I started this little project yesterday and it has taken about 16 hours to complete.

I went on the internet and found pictures of some stampsets, scanned some others from my catalogues and then stamped some sets which I could not locate pictures of elsewhere..

I have made a little index page (3) for the front and would need to update that and insert a page when I buy a new set and take out any I sell....

I have grouped my sets in categories: animals, flowers, backgrounds, sayings and words, christmas etc.

In the word and sayings catergory I have stamped all of the sayings and words from other sets so I can look in my book for a saying which I may not have remembered I have in another set which is not just sayings or words. ie. summer by the sea set has some lovely sayings and I forget to use these with other cards....


I have decorated the front page of each section with a set from that catergory, nothing fancy... and noted on the tabs what is in the category...



It is a rather large book with just over 100 pages


At least I won't have to search through my craft cabinet anymore.....

Where I have added the sayings from other sets, I have noted the name of the set it comes from and how many words or sayings stamped belong to the set... I have also stamped a couple of christmas things in the christmas section from the button bear set etc, this way I will remember I have a santa hat in another set not specifically related to christmas etc....

Upsy daisy with brayered background, I have also used the butterfly from Natural Beauty and stamped him onto heat shrink, coloured, cut and then heat shrinked...

Natural Beauty

I forgot how nice the natural beauty set is and haven't used it for a while as I used it far too much a while back...

I have used whimsical words which are just so lovely and coated the butterfly with super thick clear embossing powder, so it really shines!

This card is also based on one I made at classes with my friend Michelle last year. I do miss classes now she is no longer running them.... but still keep in touch.. She has an exciting new venture starting shortly, I hope it all goes well!

6" Photo album scrapbook - bind-it-all

I have been hoping to find time to play with my new bind-it-all machine...

Here is a photo album scrapbook, it's 6" square, covered with patterned paper (inside and outside covers), all corners are rounded with the bind-it-all heavy duty corner rounder.

Each page is decorated with stamps from Stampin Up's Natural Beauty set, on glossy cardstock then coloured.

The book contains 10 pages with 20 photos, all photographed by me, the photos are all of Pukekura Park here in New Plymouth.

The little strap is a bind-it-all accessory, it comes in tan and you can colour it with markers....



I like this so much I think I'm gonna have to keep this one!

We Stamp - Pad and Pocket Folder

How exciting and so much fun...

This is made by following the tutorial available only to We Stamp members and designed by the very creative We Stamp Team. It's a very clever pad and pocket folder and will make super gifts.

Watercolour Notebook

Well after buying a Zutter - Bind-it-all machine on Thurday, I just had to make a notebook so I could use my new machine to sprial bind etc... I have to say I am really impressed with this machine, can you believe it cuts through tin, thin wood, plastic etc and spiral binds with wire spines, how stylish!

So here are some photos of my watercolour scrapbook. I would love to be able to draw but can't.... This book is inspired by Beatrix Potter and the 'must see' movie Miss Potter.

There are 8 pages in this little book.

Could make nice little gifts....
