cricut cards

Here are a couple of very quick cards I made using my new cricut cartridge, A child's life (i think that's what it called)... Not sure if I like the shadowing on the first one, maybe if I did the pic in white and shadowed with black and then put on blue card?? prob would have looked better.... i do like the silhouette look though!

Birthday inspiration - notepad books

My Auntie (not really my Auntie but the closest I have to one), gave me a lovely notepad giftbook today for my 39th (GULP!) birthday. I haven't taken a photo of it but it immediately inspired me to make some.

The pad was huge yet I only had small ones in my craft supplies so I made small notepad/books...

I can see I will need to make lots of these for Christmas stocking fillers!

Natural Beauty

I forgot how nice the natural beauty set is and haven't used it for a while as I used it far too much a while back...

I have used whimsical words which are just so lovely and coated the butterfly with super thick clear embossing powder, so it really shines!

This card is also based on one I made at classes with my friend Michelle last year. I do miss classes now she is no longer running them.... but still keep in touch.. She has an exciting new venture starting shortly, I hope it all goes well!
