Free standing photo calendar
Here is another free standing calendar I made for xmas gifts this year. I used mostly photos I had taken and entered into camera club which I joined earlier in the year. I used the bind-it-all to bind the top and the cricut fancy frames cartridge for the back fold out stand....

Photography pages and awards
The first scrapbook page is a photo I submitted at camera club whihc got an honours... I tooke three photos using AEB auto exposure bracketing that is 3 photos at different exposures and then did the HDR high dynamic range merge in photoshop to get the best parts of all three images....
Next are two photos I entered at the interclub competition held in Hawera recently, hosted by the Hawera club - in the recent photographers section with interclub being stratford, inglewood, hawera and new plymouth clubs.. one of my DPIs got second and another third. You could only put in two DPIs and two prints. I didn't make it to interclub as I had a bad cold after finishing a busy couple of months backstage with 42nd street with the operatic society... I can't believe my photos were placed and they awarded ribbons! I have never had ribbons before... very cool.
And lastly a scrapbookpage using a couple of night photography shots of the port which I haven't even entered at camera club...

mountain snow skiing scrapbooking
Some more of the days creations, using up some old preprinted photos.....
On the third one, the snowy village scene was made on the cricut design studio, to merge all of the images together into one strip (for the shadow backing) then simply layered.... so easy to use up scraps too by placing the right size and different colored scraps in the right place and cutting all at once...

click 2 canvas as seen on tv
While on holiday I saw an add on daytime tv for these click 2 canvas kits, you get 3 frames in the pack and 4 canvas sheets to print via your inkjet printer (one in case you stuff one up!). You can also use their online software to print either a two canvas split or three as per the one I made here....It's so easy and framed in a minute or two! The special offer I saw was two packs for the price of one, so I couldn't resist the bargain and am really pleased with how they turned out....

Photo book - affirmations
I decided the other night to print some of my favourite animal photos taken from around taranaki and add affirmations to each one. So I made this book of 40 photos. It didn't photograph very well as on glossy photo paper but you get the idea.....

Scrapbook page - A4 Lake
After a lovely walk through Pukekura park early evening, I felt inspired to make a scrapbook page tonight.
This is a photo I took at Lake Mangamahoe last year. I used a Becky Fleck Page Map from my new book which has certainly helped with my layout...The layout is A4 and the first time I have tried an A4 layout.

Graduation
After finishing my study towards my Diploma in Business Administration earlier this year, I found out that graduation is in Feburary 2011 in Rotorua. Unfortunately I won't be going as it is also my brothers wedding in February in Tauranga.
So as a little momento of my achievement I purchased this delightful Russ Graduation bear from Waiariki Institute of Technology (which arrived today), complete with their name and logo. The bear is just delightful and it's great that they get these made for graduates to buy, such a cute 'must have' to mark the occassion!
