gift voucher card
Christmas cards and catching up on blogging....
Here are a few Christmas cards I made prior to Christmas....
firstly using the card feature on the cricut joys of the season cartridge..
secondly a Stamping card using the stampin up snow swirled set (I made 30 of these for a friend for his company Christmas cards, with his company logo on the back etc...)

CRICUT Wild card cards and envelopes
I couldn't help but buy this cartridge as it looked rather clever with the matching envelopes and many shaped cards. I have only had a quick play with it and like what I see. I imagine with more time I could really dress up the cards and make some rather impressive shaped cards with matching envelopes....

More Christmas cards
Christmas cards are by far my favourite to make..
This first one is inspired by a femo design I saw recently in a magazine, I didn't use femo though as find it too brittle and breakable so just went with cardstock...
Then a simple bauble with a Christmas saying stamped on top....
And lastly another Santa in the chimney card but this time with a more appropriate saying - from the just believe set.....

Nested 3D Christmas cards
A few fun creations tonight....
I don't know the name for it but I saw at the craft fair a while back that you can buy printed cards with nested type layers (i hope you know what I mean) so I thought I would try to make my own version of these using a stamped image (once for background and second for layering) then cut the layering one with 3 spellbinders nestabilities (3 for layering 3d and the other two (larger ones) for the backing and frame.
I was plesantly surprised with the result and it does look like the things I remembering seeing at the craft fair...but of course better as not printed or mass produced or
I have tried two, one square and using the Stampin Up wish for peace set and the second oval, using the Stamping up Dasher stamp...

Hope you like them...

Just add ink colour challenge 37

After a very busy day, cleaning, housework and a nice morning cleaning my car in the sun (it's been so damp and wet my car is growing mold!), yep we have seen the sun for the first time in a long time. Even the mountain was clear today, not a lot a snow as most has washed away but still beautiful. So after a rather active day I thought I would spend a couple of hours making some cards, here is my colour challenge entry.... ieven inked the ribbon to match as only have white ribbon...
