Forest friends

And my favourite card of the night - Forest friends and branch out.

I do love the little critters and decided I wanted to use all three, the tree that comes with the set wasn't big enough to put the owl into so I used the Branch Out set (one of my favourites)....

Get well soon card

I recently entered one of these on a
site, creative card crew, they were running a competition on get well cards and a friend of a friend made refernce to it so I thought I'd join in.... I had some lovely comments and people seemed to get a giggle out of the card , so here is another one.
This time I used different feet, the cuttlebug jandle and foot die. Also a flat screen TV from the spellbinders rectangles, cut and embossed. And the flower pot is also a small cuttlebug die. The headboard/footboard is simply cut out/shaped with the stampin up word window punch. The TV feet and Bed ends are just a holepunched peice by using the Cropodile Big Byte.

Natural Beauty

I forgot how nice the natural beauty set is and haven't used it for a while as I used it far too much a while back...

I have used whimsical words which are just so lovely and coated the butterfly with super thick clear embossing powder, so it really shines!

This card is also based on one I made at classes with my friend Michelle last year. I do miss classes now she is no longer running them.... but still keep in touch.. She has an exciting new venture starting shortly, I hope it all goes well!

Get well soon card

This is a remake of a card I made a year or two ago. Jessica T left a message on a friends site to upload a get well soon card, so I thought I would make one and join in on this...

upsy daisy and song of spring

And the last two creations of the weekend..... the daisy card design is straight out of the 2009-2010 stampin up catelogue and the bird card using the spotlight technique was based on a card I made at a class with Michelle over a year ago now...

Sheep

Since buying this stamp about a year ago at a craft fair, I have only used it one or twice. I forgot how funny it was.... I used the stampin up stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the sheep on the inside while holding it up to the light....

Scary cards - cuttlebug

Here are a coupld of scary cards made using my cuttlebug.

I saw the spider and bat(2) cut and emboss 3x3 set on trademe, usually $30 and only $10 so I grbbed the bargin thinking I already have the haunted house and spider web embossing folder..

So please i did, I think they turned out well...

I have to admit though that the spider card is still creeping me out! I can image sending it to someone and them dropping it when they open it - ummmm who do I want to scare????
