card remakes.... using up scraps

Well I spent the afternoon yesterday remaking, editing and pulling apart some cards from my card box, some I didn't like and some that needed something added. And then making cards using up all of my scraps and precut shapes and embellishments etc... I feel much more organised now without hoarding precut shapes and bits and pieces....

Here are some of my remakes....

Alternative to chipboard

I can only find thick chipboard which will not cut in my cricut, so on thehunt for something similar I tried tim holts grungeboard and it is super and will do what I want.... here I quickly tired brayer or sponging onto it, embossing it (which worded and held the pattern) and heat embossingwith embossing powder...... I really wanted to make my own words using the cricut and wanted it tooo look like chipboard....

Dress up dolls cricut

Here are some dress up dolls I made for a couple of the wardrobe ladies, following a discussion of the good old days.... made them for a giggle... as these ladies have been dressing the cast every night for the local production of 42nd street... I even ended up doing wardrobe in between sound/radio mics!
