Birthday and farewell card - something different
I have been so busy lately you may have noticed I have not been bloggin or creating for a whie now.. we have had lovely sunny days and I managed to put up my swimming pool, a lovely 24 degree on saturday (the first swim).. then spring cleaning and sorting out things to sell from the clean out... and finally putting up all of my Christmas decorations!
Here are a couple of cards, one for a friend at work, having a birthday today.. She has a Wii console like me and the Wiifit plus, and this card is made based on the stepping game/exercise...
Secondly a farwell card for one of the hairdressing tutors at work who is leaving to spend more time with her new salon....

Scrapbook page - A4 Lake
After a lovely walk through Pukekura park early evening, I felt inspired to make a scrapbook page tonight.
This is a photo I took at Lake Mangamahoe last year. I used a Becky Fleck Page Map from my new book which has certainly helped with my layout...The layout is A4 and the first time I have tried an A4 layout.

Christmas cards - delightful decoration and holiday hedgehogs
And finally for tonight, some Christmas cards.. have been too busy for crafts lately and the sun has been shining!
The spray for the ornament is from my new trademe bargin, holiday hedgehogs...
Next a couple of holiday hedgehog cards, of course I love the iceskating one as I am a skater.... and just think the snowman one is ever so funny!
Just beachy - bargin
This is a recent trademe bargin, another SU retired set, just beachy. I thought it would be great for scrapbooking and also for mens cards. My brother recently went on a fishing charter in the Coromandel and caught about 15 fish, one of which was the biggest catch of the day, a 10kg snapper! Cool! Shame he didn't courier it down to me! At least he sent photos, it was even too big for his sink! Anyway this stampset will come in very handy for cards for him too...
A card for a friend
Here is a card I made for my friend Rel who sent me a wonderful card recently to showcase her new toy, a cricut! Check out her blog on my bloglist to see the card she made while you are there check out her lastest scrapbooking pages, they are very nice.

Graduation
After finishing my study towards my Diploma in Business Administration earlier this year, I found out that graduation is in Feburary 2011 in Rotorua. Unfortunately I won't be going as it is also my brothers wedding in February in Tauranga.
So as a little momento of my achievement I purchased this delightful Russ Graduation bear from Waiariki Institute of Technology (which arrived today), complete with their name and logo. The bear is just delightful and it's great that they get these made for graduates to buy, such a cute 'must have' to mark the occassion!
