Photo book - affirmations

I decided the other night to print some of my favourite animal photos taken from around taranaki and add affirmations to each one. So I made this book of 40 photos. It didn't photograph very well as on glossy photo paper but you get the idea.....

wedding table settings

I spent mostof the day yesterday making these table setting hangers for my brothers wedding coming up in February.

They decided to use photos from places they have been and the large photo is double sided and will be attached to the tables centerpiece. The placesetting cards will be hung on a board. The wedding is a picnic theme and therefore the red gingham ribbon and red and white theme has been included to match the wedding invites and thankcards made last year.

Black water rafting scrapbook page

Here is another of yesterdays creations, seemed a great time to start scrapping as new years day! This was back in the 90's when my flatmate and best friend, Martyn and I went blackwater reafting atthe waitomo caves. At the time his brother owned the caves so we got an extra special trip, absailed sown a 30foot hole into the ground (very small from memory), checked out the glowworms, did some tubing after jumping off a cliff! saw horid cave wetters and even got an eel in my gumboot! We even had to climb up over a massive and very strong waterfall, I remeber the relief when I finally made it back out of the ground....

Bow maker

I know I should have bought this little gadget before christmas so I could have made bows for the presents but I had read some reviews and they were not good... It put me off but I ended up buyingit anyway. Yes it is really just a stapler but also designed to help hold your bows in place which is really the point of it, the only limit is you imagination! Here are some bows I have made while trying it out, It's a great way to use up your ribbon scraps!
