We Stamp Wednesday - Sketch #3
Here is my take on the sketch, the large saying is not a stampin up stamp but it's beautiful all the same!
Chalkboard technique
I finally got around to try another technique from splitcoast stampers website. This is called chalkboard or blackboard technique.

Final class with Michelle! Bo Ho
Well, Sunday was spent with a great card class at Michelle's. Although the class was great as usual, it was a little sad as it was Michelle's final class. After being a Stampin Up demonstrator for quite a few years, she has decided to free up some time and enjoy life.
Michelle is a lovely person and has become a very good friend. She has been a terrific teacher and a super demonstrator for stampin up, they were lucky to have her. She'd be a hard act to follow. Her creations and techniques have been such a great help to me and she has managed to transform my creations from little to no stamping, to mostly stamping!
The good thing is that she will continue stamping and of course We Stamp, so is not that glooming from a customer point of view really, but I can't help but feel a little empty. She has always encouraged and inspired me and made a considerable difference in my life. Thanks Michelle, for EVRYTHING!
Here are four of the five cards we made at class... (Obviously it was a Christmas Class!)

Flower of the month - diary/birthday book
Here is the second book made using my new flower of the month set.
This book is a lot smaller than the first, about 3 3/4 inch x 5 inch.
Since it is smaller it was a little easier and quicker to make.
The covers are covered with patterned paper, spellbinder labels die with lovely saying stamp from Sense of time set. Flowers to top off from Eastern blooms.
The front page with the January flower for the month, Carnation
February - Voilet
June - Rose
Water colour diary - flower of the month
I was so very excited when I saw this stampset for sale on trademe. Stampin ups flower of the month, must be from the U.S. I fell in love with it instantly and bid like crazy to win the auction.
I have made 2 books so far with this set, this is the first one, 5 inch x 5 inch and bound together using the bind-it-all.
I have covered the covers with patterned paper and used the lovely saying from SU sense of time set, on a spellbinders label die, and added a flower from SU playful petals set.
Here is the first page with the january flower, carnation. I have watercoloured the flowers and the lines are stamped from the Live your dream set.
October flower, marigold
April - sweet pea
