Flowerpot Cards

Well I finally got around to trying a flowerpot card. The tutorial is on splitcoast stampers website.

Instead of using patterned paper, I used my cuttlebug and embossed the front and back of the pot, with the cbug embossing folder. Tip: line up the back of the flowerpot card to the pattern end in folder (not the end of the folder), this way it will emboss all the way up to the scallop (just underneath) and completely emboss the back...

I used Stampin Ups really rust cardstock and watercolour card for the first flowerpot card and the playful petals stampset for the flowers. The second card is using white cardstock and the Eastern Blooms stampset with the leaves from playful petals. Curvy verses used for both.

Well that was fun! I hope to get a chance to try out some more projects from We Stamp over the weekend.

  1. Think these two pot flowers are really really neat. Love the way you have cuttlebug the pottery pot, it looks so real and much more effective than using DSP. Love the flowers too. Aamazing......
